I have a 00' Trail Boss and noticed today that the cooling fan is constantly running. I let it set for a couple of hours and then when I turn the key back on it comes back on any help or advice would be appreciated

Will, I had a switch go out on my 1990. I don't know if they changed the wiring, but, there should be a switch in the top tank of the radiator. I can't remember if it grounded the fan, or switched a powered wire. Either way, that is a good place to start. Unplug the wires, if it goes off, it is probably the switch. Did this happen since it was new? If it did, it may be pluged into the wrong circuit. My old 1990 had a wire junction next to the fuel tank on the left side. So many wires in such a small place, it is easy to miss the correct plug. Hope that this helps.
Later, Dave

It must still be in warranty. See your dealer. If not you must have a bad thermo switch. I would assume ts on the cooler itself.,
