I'm putting wider a-arms on an '88 250r and was wondering what makes the '88 handle the best...+2 wider, +1 forward. Or just the +2 wider? I am still using the stock swingarm.

Thanks

I have +2/+1 A-arms on my 89 with a stock swingarm and it seems fine. I can still wheelie better than my 87.

Retro-

I'm from Milwaukee. I just went to Black River Falls last weekend. It was kinda of boring (long, straight trails). I notice that you are from Green Bay. Know of any good places to ride up there? My bro races a CR250R dirtbike and I ride a 2001 300EX that I am slowly modding out. I will soon be looking into an 88' 250R. We are always looking for a few good places to ride. Any suggestions?

I've also have +2/+1 A-arms on my 88'R and have no problems with them,

There are plenty of good trail systems in Northern WI. Check out the "Place to Ride" section of these forums, there are a few places listed on there.
