timming on a lt 80

can any boddy tell me how to set the timming on a suzuki lt 80 nothing is familiar on this quad

LT80's don't have timing, it's a two stroke!!! I rebuilt an LT80 and never had to time it, first of all how. If its not running right try the spark plug first.

well to adjust the timing you remove the fan cover,fan,and flywheel.(rt side of engine) loosen the 3 screws. turning the stator clockwise advances it,counter clockwise retards it. Stock timing is when the marks (you'll see em) are lined up. 1/16" advanced is good [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
