before this past winter i put a 140 main jet in it,& it ran great,so i put the 130 back in,for the summer, but now everytime i touch the throttle it just dies,it completly bogs down i tried adjusting the carb but no matter what i did it stayed the same ,so when i went to check the main jet today it fell out so i put it back in making sure it was tight ,but its still doing the same thing can someone please help me.

thanks,

Move the clip on the needle of the carb, that should take care of it.

It sounds like it is the reverse limiter box has gone bad. You can disconnect it an see if that fixes it. Mine went bad in my 95tb an iwould not let it pick up rpms so that is what I would check

x_scrambler ,how do i disconect it because i noticed when i pushed the reverse limiter button i didnt go no faster & it would bog down when i pushed it .thanks everyone for your help.i have another question is there any way it could be the top end needing rebuilt ,this thing only has 25hrs on it,maybe a little more but not much.it sits most of the time .she only rode it a few times ,& i took it out a couple of times to play in the mud.how hard is it to put a cluth kit in ,& do you need special tools.

I had 5 years on my Tb before the first rebuild. Under the front nose piece there is a black slinder box with about 5 or 6 wires running to it.at least that is what mine looked like. There is a green wire a white wire I can't remeber the other colors of wires but I disconnected the white wire. If you disconnect the limiter box you are also disabling the the safty for the throughtle sicking .Each wire that comes out is sapprat for the other so can disconnct one then try an see if it helps you.
