Hole shot tire sizes how much rougher will the smaller one be?
#1
I just ordered the hole shots on douglas 190 and was wondering what size you guys have.
I ordered the 21x7x10 fronts and the 20x11x10 rears
and the more I think about it the more I think I should have stayed with the stock size. Reason being this I think that the lower profile tire is gonna give me a real rough ride.
Any help would be appreciated
and does anyone use this setup if so I would like to know what you think of it.

you'll gain more low end but sacrifice ground clearance.as for the ride you "probally" wont even notice unless you got the 6 ply xct's,they might give you a harder ride because of the stiff sidewall

Sorry, this isn't an answer to your question, but rather it's another question....
Where did you order your tires/rims from? Rocky Mountain? Do you mind if I ask how much the shipping was? I am planning on ordering some myself. Thanks.

I never noticed a rougher ride with the smaller tires, but I did notice I was bottoming out more often. After the tread wore out I went back to the 22's on back, but I put 22's on the front instead of 23's and I like the way it rides now better.

bubba 1005,
I don't think you'll notice that much difference. If the 20" (rear) are only 4 ply then the difference won't be felt at all as opposed to the six ply 22" rears. If they are six ply, you still might not feel the difference. Six ply side walls are pretty stiff no matter what size you have them in. Try taking the air out of them and you'll see what I mean. The fronts are four ply no matter what size you get them in (except the MX, they are two ply). One thing is for sure, they will ride a lot rougher than the stock two plys.

Well I changed my mind and went with the stock size xct's. Reason being I climb alot of hills with really soft dirt (not sand loose dirt) and I don't think the smaller tires would give me the clearance I need. I would have gone with the dirt devil's. But they just built an awesome track by me (Atco raceway) so I wanted the flat track tires.
Josh the shipping was around $26 from Rocky Mountain.
Thanks for all the input guys. I know a good bit about atv's but I just needed some feed back from some guys with the setup on a scrambler as it is a different beast and has many likes and dislikes.
