Just bought a new ('01) DS and wanted to pass along some info to anyone looking to pick up one of these monsters. The dealer informed me that Bombardier is issuing $1000 rebates starting on 7/16. I don't know if this applies nation/world wide, or if this is a West Coast thing, or what, but I was able to whittle them down to 6.3 Large out the door. That's alot better than the $8,200 o.t.d. some dealers were asking and about $800 less than most people are paying for a new Raptor. I guess they are expecting th '02's in a couple of weeks and are real eager to move remaining units.

Can't wait 'til Monday when I pick up my new rocket!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't sure how much the rebates were, but I got mine in late April. $6300 otd is what I paid, and that was paying state taxes. I paid $5800 plus $75 for set-up. If I would have known that they were getting $1000 rebates, I might have offered them $5500 or $5600 just to see if they would bite! I would have paid $800 MORE for a Raptor. My dealer sells them both. I mean the dealers around here were selling 400ex's with the $300 honda bonus bucks for $5199. If anyone wants a DS now is the time to buy. Later
