Why doesn't polaris put a xcr800 snowmobile moter into a quad frame and kill all the other sport atvs? That would be funny if they did it would be really heavy and fly.

 

I e-mailed them about putting the 600 sled twin in an ATV, they just said they had no plans at this time. Besides the weight, another drawback would be the width of the engine. It might need the sled clutching system, too, if some people have belt trouble now, they'd really tear up the kevlar, even detuned to 60+ horsepower. Just the liabilty issue would probably kill this thing though.
