After about 15-20 minutes of riding my new 01 Warrior, i start to hear a knocking sound coming from the piston when i slow down to first and second gears. This sound doesn't happen when the engine is cold. There is plenty of oil. Being this is my first quad, i don't know if what i am hearing is normal for this bike. Any information would be appreciated.

You need to adjust your valves, which on a 2001 Warrior is normal.
