I have an 88 warrior and my valves are tapping, they really need adjusted. I was wondering how hard it is to adjust them? I consider myself a competant mechanic (I have built a few Jeeps and few S.B chevys), but this is my first quad. I heard I will need a special tool, and have to remove the front fenders, this true? Also heard I need to put it on TDC, then adjust the valves till flush. Any help here would be appreciated, TIA!

Geez, thanks for all the help, I guess if it doesnt say RAPTOR on the post it isnt worth looking at.
By the way, I did adjust them last night. After reading the manual it wasnt that hard. Anyone else looking to do this to there warrior and dont have a manual available let me know, I will explain the process the best I can.

Thanks, yes it worked out good. This quad is great to work on when compared to autos. Everything is so much easier and simple to understand. I am sure there are many on this forum that would have helped me, it just seems my thread gets buried real quick under all the Raptor stuff. Not busting the Raptor guys, it just gets frustrating.
