I just bought it !!!!!! 3 years I have been wanting one and I'll finally get one !!!!!!! It's brand new too...... I got a red one(best color IMO) Man I cant wait to go pick this baby up !!!!! Next tuesday I'm leaving for Canada and I'll go pick it up !!!!! It's still in a crate right now but it will be ready for me !!!!!!




I'm probably stupid for not knowing this: Did I buy a 2002 ????? or a 2001 ?????? I forgot to ask my dealer !!!!!

 

The year it was made should either be stamped or on a sticker on the chassis behind the bumper. Also the graphics are a little different on the 2002. So if you know someone with a 2001 you can compare the graphic that are on the gas tank.

 

The thing is.... I wont get to see it untill next week..... but since it's in a crate... it should be a 2002 ????? right ?????

 

Just call the dealer and ask him. Don't listen to RelicRacer, he don't know what he is talking about.

 

What youneed to do is call the dealer and clarify what year 400 EX you purchaced.

 

if its still in the crate it'll probably be a 2002 but theres a slight chance that it isn't. BTW i looked at a 2002 yesterday and they look awesome! the one i saw was yellow tho.

 

They are the best one.

 

By the way juggalo, did your insurance ever cover your LT250R??? If so what are you going to get with the money?

 

yeah they said they'd write us a check for 2400 bucks or else they would just buy us an all new one. well i decided to get a new one and i'm deciding on a 400EX, raptor (which is what i really want.) or a banshee. i just got back form the dealer and he was a real dick and he didn't even know what he was tlakin abtou he kept trying to sell me a 300EX and i told him if that was the case i'd just take the check and buy that nice LT i was lookin at. well that shut him up. anyways we're seeing if my insurance will buy me a 2002 raptor and if not i'll probably get a 2002 400EX.
