I'm looking for more power for my warrior, I've done the filter and slip-on pipe and don't want to go into the engine until I have to so whats left? I was thinking of ordering the Big Gun head pipe and some air box vents but do you think I would notice a difference? Has anyone done a slip-on and then went back for the head pipe? If so did you feel a difference?

Since you don't want to go into the motor yet, the only performance parts are a header, and a carb, but I may have forgotten something obvious.

I've heard that the header pipe on the warrior is already big enough in diameter, so it will only make a minimal performance difference. The only thing that they are good for is improving the looks of the quad. I would look at that new edelbrock quicksilver carb, looks pretty nice!!!!!

How much of a difference does that Big Gun make? Where are the gains at (top, mid, bottom)? Is it worth the money? Would you mind telling me where you bought it at and how much you payed for it? Im looking into getting a pipe but I am looking for something with a good bottom end gain and a little on the top, since I do mostly trail riding and race a few harescrambles here and there. Any info is appreciated. Thanx.

I was looking at the WB, FMF, and Big Gun and could only find the Big Gun in stock at Moto-man (www.dirt-deals.com). The slip on cost $269 and helped the low end a LOT, the mid had a nice gain and the top end was minimal but had some improvement. The dyno graph showed about 1 1/2 hp increase at peak but 3.5 to 4 hp in the 3000 rpm to 5500 rpm range and about 2.5 hp increase from 7000 rpm on up over the stock pipe. I noticed it pulled alot harder out of the hole. I liked the fit and finish of the pipe.

looks like a for sale sign may help you get into something with a little more power.

teh WB scielencer is awsome on the warrior. I would not trade it for anything. I would get a new Cam, bored our cylinder, and carb work. Also doing routin vavle adjustments will help maintain or give you more power. very easy and free.
