I was just wondering how the ride of the new Grizz compares to the Sportsman 500?
This being Yamahas first ever IRS quad makes me wonder if the ride is as cush as the SP.
Has anyone ridden both?If so,How do they compare?

Having ridden both, I think the Yamaha rides every bit as good as the sportsman. It doesn't by even the slightest margin come close to the sp500 in keeping all 4 on the ground though.

Forget the Grizz 660. Take a look at the new king.

That looks like a pretty mean machine but i was wondering if they are coming out wiht them this year. They say its a 2002 but polaris doesnt list it as a 2002 model. I was just wondering.

I've owned a SP and a H.O. and have a new Grizz. The new Grizz is closer to the H.O. I also ride behind all these quads on my DS and watch the rear end of each as it moves through the bumps, ruts and rocks. The SP clearly keeps its tires on the ground best, both the H.O. and the Grizz come into there own once the mph is increased. The Grizz has the power the H.O. should have had. Stiffening the suspension was kind of a waste on the H.O. (They did it with gas shocks) but appropriate with the increased power of the Grizz.
The H.O. outhandles the Grizz and powerslides best of all three.
With wider tires and wheels the Grizz is almost there, but I would say the H.O. still has a slight edge in handling. But it is time for a side by side ride of all three, 'cause they're all good, but only the Grizz is quick. The Grizz smokes the Polarises on our trail rides and almost keeps up with the Raptor and DS. The Polarises just can't accelerate out of a turn the way the Grizz and the sports can. They are great cruisers, when we switch rides, riding the SP is like taking a break.
