Ok i am putting on a muffler from Aaen It is supposed to give me 7 Hp. I doubt it to, At least it will sound louder Has any one used one before? Are they any good?

 

no good!NEVER a muffler will add 7 hp,when i check their catalog
the top pipe add 8 hp at 6250,and their torquer pipe add 5 hp at 6250,
very poor performance gains,more to be considerated hpd,rcr,hot seat.

Yes they create great power BUT, both machines I have ran this pipe on have been ported. That is when a port job shines (with a pipe). When myself and a friend tested this pipe we spoke to Olav Aaen himself before we ordered the pipe and he stated, only buy the muffler. He pointed out that different headpipes only created a total of about 1 horsepower and that was at such an rpm it would never be used. My friend has a 96 Sportsman that is done up identical to mine except I did not have the pipe. He would pull away from me by a quad length every 15 mph. It surprised me. Now I do not like AAEN's fit but his performance has done fairly well. I do not like his 2 stroke pipes.
