How much extra horsepower will new reeds give me for my TB? Should i use any other mods when i get these? Are they really worth it? I think they will compliment my pipe and clutch kit from HPD when i get them. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hey not so harsh. He probably doesn't know. Sorry Trailblazerkid250, but the T-Blazer doesn't have reeds. The pipe and a clutch kit is your best bet.

Yeah sorry my man the TB is piston port, When I had my TB I went with the rcr stage one kit, Its a good deal and gives the bike some much needed power for $285 bucks or so, Check out Ritters site and get some details

I'm sorry nauvooguy but i assumed it had reeds because it said it right in Shadetree.
Thank you for understanding codeman and Todd 400. Especially for not calling me a retard. I'm going to check out RCR.

If shadetree said a SP500 weighed 400 lbs., would you believe them?

Your TrailBlazer will do fine with an HPD pipe and clutchkit. The reed kit is overpriced, and overated, kinda like a Honda.

Call HPD, I think the conversion kit is available. I'll be up there tomorrow, I'll check with them. Daryl has lots of power out of this engine. Give 'em a call 763-389-3336, tell em Ken sent you, and they'll take great care of you.

Talked to Daryl today. He's waiting on the needles for the carb. should be ready any day. He' only selling it as a kit though. Modded cyl, carb, pipe and clutch kit...I think I remembered those items correctly. With the kit installed, the TB beats a 400 and 500 Scramblers. You can read about this in the new issue of All-Terrain Vehicle mag. To subscribe and catch the HPD article, call1-800-905-TRAX. Price is kinda steep at $11.95 for 4 issues, but if you do call, tell them it's because they have the Polaris article.
