ok guys, I have a chance to purchase a 98 grizzly for 1500. It looks rough from being kept in the sun and has 4500 miles on it. The tires are wore pretty bad so i am assuming it has seen a lot of pavement. Everything seems to be intact. The machine will not move though and the current owner seems to think its the drive belt. It will not go into reverse because of the rear brakes being adjusted all the way out. Hasn't been rode in a year. Do you guys think this is a good buy or should i leave it alone??? also, where is a good place to buy replacement parts for it over the internet? (brake cables, brake shoes etc.) What kind of problems could be expected from the clutch mechanism??? Thanks a bunch guys you are always a great help!!!!

It seems like it would be worth it. You can get the brakes pads and stuff from Rocky Mountain ATV

I'd bet you could get more than the $1500 even if you part it out. BUY IT.
