This ignition switch is different.(now like a car) As are the tires.(Rawhides, 12" rims front and back I heard) This is all I know of.

Tires are the same Tracker P's on 02 as the 01. The only difference I know of is the key starter on the 02. If you want to wake your H.O. up , try Hot Seat's clutch kit. I have a 26" Mud Runner set up on my 02, and with stock clutching things were pretty weak down low, not any more though. All the parts listed with after market companies for the 01 are compatible with the 02 as far as me and my dealer know.

Looked at one at the dealer last weekend. They were not tracker p's. The new green is really ugly IMO.
I also recived the HSP power kit this week. Muffler/Header, Clutch kit, K&N. Installed the pipe tuesday and it rubbed the shock/spring. HSP is only a short drive for me so I went and had the header exchanged. I will try again and let you know how all of this works when sorted out.

If your '02 came with Tracker P's, you're dealer screwed you. They're supposed to come with Goodyear Rawhides. If you want to buy the rawhides, and need to compare prices, don't forget to check your Max All terrain Vehicle Dealer.

All of the 02 Sportsmans we have gotten have Tracker P's. The Ducks and Rem have the rawhides. And I do not believe my dealer is screwing me considering I work there. Also if you look at the 02 brochure it agrees with what I just stated.

I've seen about 12 different 02 H.O.'s at three different dealerships, all had Tracker P's on them. Just as a note my buddy has an 01 H.O. that was built on April 13th 01, my 02 H.O. was built on April 30th 01, thats how much alike these bikes are. Shaggy500HO be sure to follow up on the mods, I am considering the exact same set up for my wheeler also. THANKS
