2001,2002 Sportsman 500 H.O. are they different?

The 2002 HO I looked at was a light metallic green. There was also a 2002 DUSE with 27" vamps on a stand. Maybe some tires were traded. Would it have been the Remington model? I don't know.

Front springs. Dealer PN.7041450-067 Strait 101 lbs/in. $24 ea. Stock is a dual rate spring 64/113 lb/in. Its great in the rough but not a smooth as stock on trails. I run about 18 psi in the tires BTW.
Reverse light. Just an implement type flood light wired to the winch solenoid for power. Mounted opposite side like/of the muffler. This light bolted in like a factory part to a exiting hole. Works great!!!

I put the exchanged header pipe on today and it needs to be about 3/4" longer to work at the joint of the header to muffler. As it is now it leaks at this spot. The muffler is still against the spring/shock due to the header pipe being to short. The muffler clears by itself but the two springs pull it into the spring/shock when hooked to the header. It will be taken to HSP this week as they said they will make it work. They may need to look at there jig for the header pipe too. This kit has only been out around two months??? I have run across one other with the kit on another forum. He says it was installed by his dealer and fits fine.
One short test ride. At the moment it is quite loud (exhaust leak). It seems to pull harder(Low/Mid) but didn't top 60 on the Speedo like normal. HSP says a jet change is not needed but with the addition of the K&N plus the Header/Muffler some jetting may be in order. I have not installed their clutch mods yet.
