I know you guys have aftermarket wheels on you new Griz, I want to know what offset you have? Do you have to specify the offset when you order?

There isn't much available in 12" diameter wheels. Bolt Pattern is the 4-110.
The Douglas .190 aluminum wheels only come 5" out, 3" in, for the rear (which I reversed, valve stem clears) and the fronts are 2"out, 5"in (no way would the valve stem clear if you tried to reverse it). 3" out, 4" in, would be perfect in front, that would give a 48" front track to go with the 49" in back.
If you run the rears the way they are supposed to go you wind up with 53" wide in back. Kinda big even for here. Maybe you could special order some wheels, or maybe Douglas or somebody will start making a Grizzly package. They certainly should. 3" out all around is about right. If you find something be sure to post it. Stock is 1" out in front and 1.5" out in rear. Stock track is 43.5", so add 5" and you get 48.5. Definetly get better tires too. I stuck with 25" height, 'cause I don't know nuthin' 'bout mud, I want to powerslide. But 12.5" wide Spidertrax are great in the rear, and 10" wide in front helps in the sandwashes around here. If you were to go with the ITP steel wheels (cheaper and heavier), they you would be getting the same less ofset wheel for the front and back. They are the exact same rims, so if you ordered them, remember to get the same rims on the rear that are recommended from the front. It sounds like you won't get any offset, but thats hardly the case. It widened mine out a lot! Probably about the same as Fourlix's douglas rims mounted backwards. They also have offset rear rims in ITP steel, but they would make the quad look like one of those crazy 8 wheel conversions or something. With 12" tires on the back and the ITP steel, you will gain stability, but you will also not fit in places you could before. I prefer this setup though, because the stability increased big time.

Thanks for replying guys,
Im thinking of going with the Douglas aluminum rims and some 26" 589MT's.
I think the 2"out,5" in would satisfy me, if I need any more offset in the rear I could always get some spacers.

Would you recommend Rocky Mountain AtV, they seem to have good prices and how much should I expect to pay for shipping?(tires and wheels)

Pfelect,
I paid 40 bucks for shipping from Rocky Mt ATV to Humble TX, for the Douglas/ Titan combo on the Xped. They are good folks at RM ATV, very helpful.

So how does the Griz ride compared to the Xped? I,m thinking of trading up as well.

BigBubbaQuad, what size 589's did you get and did you get the a/t or m/t's? How do you like them?

the Griz is great so far. Smoother ride, auto tranny, I havent had it in much mud yet but it should do real good. If I had any complaints right now it would be...
thumb throttle seems stiff to me..
have to use rear brake to shift into or out of reverse and park(I hear theres an easy fix for that)
no OVERRIDE for the reverse limiter( also an easy fix)
needs better mud flaps(this thing will sling mud all over you!)

I dont plan on doing a bunch of modifying to this quad until the extended warranty is out, only mud tires and maybe the reverse situation, which could easily be put back to stock for warranty work. I nearly went broke trying to fix things on the Xped, it was great for 1 1/2 years then it went to $hit, something broke every other ride!!

I hope 2 years from now I still like the Grizzly
