I have a 99 warrior and wanted to know how good the 500 big bore kit for it. I read that it can go no father so how long will the cylinder last. And how much is it? I know four stroke teck makes it. so if you people can help me it would be nice.

They use a Kodiak jug. Get the november 98
Four Wheel ATV Action back issue. They did
a feature on it.

The FST Warrior 500 Darrin is referring to did have a definte performance gain. The top speed was projected to be around 85-90mph. To have FST do the job it costs about $2,500. But if you want to do it yourself then they will send you everything for about $2,000.

Hey guys bigger is better at what cost!
The 500 kit from FST is shaving the walls extremly thin. Machines require a very close attention to the engine casing. Tend to overheat even with the intercooler added.

FST has many different Kits available. I had a 455 done on both my Wolverine and my friends Warrior last year.
The Machines are extreme! With this kit on.
What's a 400ex?? nadda
I PUSH THE LIMITS! And had no problems of yet. Will post if i run into engine problems.

455 kit for a Warrior/wolvy?

Do you have specific specs for all engine mods?

I'll go first. My 400cc Powroll kit is an .080 overbore (and I wouldn't go any further on a stock jug, and in combination with a 5.6 mm stroker crank you get the 400cc (or was that 398cc, me forgets) Yes this machine does rip snot something fierce. The .430/.430 cam is a wonderful pull all across the powerband. What is your cam? My porting and polishing of the head gave me documented 10-30% better flow via a flow bench test, did you FST job give you data? What carb do you run? Still the stock 36mm or bigger 38 or 40mm?

Inquiring engineering minds want to know.

FST when i purchased my kit had about 7 or 8 diff options available 500 down to a 388.
I called FST on thursday, there sending all the specs and kits available at this time along with pricing. From what i gathered they only do 4 diff kits now.
As for my 455 << typo >> 448cc, to be honest i can't remember for sure what they put in it. but ill find out and let ya know.
