Help my chain flew off and broke my case. The leak is slow, but it is a leak. Should I JB weld it? Get a New CAse?

If it is a small crack (seeping only), then I would say to JB it. The first chance (or shall I say money) I get would go towards a new side case.

The problem with fixing a leak is that you could be out there in the middle of nowhere and lose your oil. As you know...no oil is not a good thing.

Are you talking the actual engine case? or a side cover? there is a big difference in price for the two.

I would JB weld it and start looking for used parts... heck sometimes you can pick up a old blown banshee for less than $500... if the cases are good... take them and ebay the rest...

Just my $.02
