HEY GUYS, I SMOKED MY CLUTCH THIS WEEKEND AT THE STATE LINE HARESCRAMBLE AND NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS REPLACED THE STOCK CLUTCH DISCS AND SPRINGS FOR AN AFTERMARKET ( SOMETHING STRONGER). ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO GET A TWIST THROTTLE INSTEAD OF THE THUMB. YOUR HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Four stroke tech and a few other company's make stronger springs. As for clutch kits EBC and Barnett have them out. Everyone seems to like the Barnett from what I've heard and Hinson makes a stronger basket if need be.
As for a Twist throttle I have one if you want to buy it. It's a motion pro vortex, it was on my quad for about 1 hour and in perfect cond with instructions. $30.00 if you want it. It's too much for me in tight woods. Later

First off, only use the Yamaha engine oil. Any other oil that has wear additives will cause instantanious clutch failure.

On the new clutch, go with the Yamaha factory parts except for the springs (use the heavy Barnett). Call Alba Yamaha in CA for the part numbers. They upgraded to the FZR or RZ clutch set.
