Removing Governor on E-Z-GO Golf Cart

Hi,

i know this doesnt have anything to do with ATV's But i havent found any other place to post this. I have an E-Z-GO Gold cart with a 10-HP Gas engine and i have no manual for it and i wanted to remove the governor off of it and i was hoping someone could tell me how or tell me where to go to do so, thanks alot!!!

I would like to warn you, to make sure that it has an ample oil system. Often if governours are removed, and the oil system isn't strong enough, you will seize the piston.

I thoguht I'd point this out, incase it is not already known. If it is an older cart, and is a two stroke, you will most likely be fine without teh governer. Just use your common sense with it, of course. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the actual removal of it. I do know several people who have them removed, and don't seem to have any troubles with it, but these ARE on two strokes.
