I'm looking for some new hand grips for my scam 500. The stock grips tear the heck out of my hand. Can anyone recommend a good soft pair of grips. Thanks

Go to your local dealer and order some "Bike Master" foam ATV Grips. They are between $2-$3 and you dont have to wear gloves anymore.

I use Pro Grips #RVGS 934 in the soft compound. I have also used the RVGS 792. These have a gel spot for the palm and a dimple pattern for the fingers. Renthal grips are another excellent choice.
My experience has shown that any grip with the "waffle pattern" will cause blisters. Try and get a grip with the dimples even if the dimples are in the block pattern. These are more comfortable yet still give enough grip if they get wet or muddy. Also get a soft compound of rubber this will help reduce the vibrations and be more comfortable to hold onto.
Basically I stay away from the solid lines comonly referred to the "waffle pattern".
