I went with a kx-250 perch. You'll have to re-route a couple of wires to do away with the limiter thing on the factory set up.

If you want to keep the factory clutch safety switch in place, order the perch from Riva Yamaha. The perch you want is actually the left brake perch for a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 4X4. Your existing clutch handle will work or you can order the brake lever too from the Kodiak 4X4.

If you checkout the latest ATV Sport, they do a comparison of clutch lever setups. They said the Honda CR250 is the best setup.

The only thing you have to do with the emergency brake wires is disconnect them from behind the radiator. Not sure what you need to do with the clutch safety wires since I kept mine in place.

the clutch safety wires can de disco'd behind the radiator as well. after you have disco'd them pack them with dilithium grease and plug them into each other. i switched to the MSR shorty with Tag/ CR 250 lowbend handlebars (had to install universal mount). still waiting on a $10 plate from PRM for the indicator lights and ignition. and a new pair of factory grips. until Mr. UPS shows up i'll be riding the warrior.
