The Wolvy is an awsome quad. I ride in every type of stuff known to god with our wolvy. I always plow snow too. This sounds like the quad of you choice. The wolvy can also stand some jumping too. The long legged suspention on the wolvy will soak up every bump you hit. Also when you want more power just get a pipe for it and it will fly even more.

Have you looked at the Polaris Scrambler 4x4? I'm not sure how it compares to the Wolverine in handling and jumping, but I can tell you that it is deffinatly quite a bit faster in a straight line. As an added bonus it's an auto and can also be taken out of 4x4 and run in just 2-wheel drive. It's a good cross between sport and utility, but it doesn't fall into either of those categories completely (it's close to a sport quad, but the size kind of hampers it).
Despite what you may hear, I think that Polaris makes a great quad. My Sport is the same thing as a Scrambler (they changed the name in 2000), and it has been great to me. I have not broken anything on it except one $5.00 part (a little metal piece that hooks onto the shifter and the top of the tranny).
My only complaints are it's size and weight. However it can still handle the normal jumps that you come across in trail riding. Just nothing extreme.
I can honestly say that if I was going to buy a 4x4 quad it would be the Scrambler 400 4x4. No question.
Every rider is different though so you may want to try a few different quads out.
You'll be happy either way.
