I'm guessing that this is for the 400 EX? If so, Dirtwheels had a magazine where they did the performance reviews on I beleive all major companies who make aftermarket pipes for the 400. It has the dyno tests and DB readings and I think it is the same issue where they put it up against the cannondale. Not sure though. I looked into that month's issue before I bought the WB e series for mine. I couldn't tell you if I felt the performance from it though. All at the same time i put a 14T sproket, dynojet kit, and holeshots on it and felt that at once. You thought it did wheelies before....he he he.

Well, the breaking the chain story they told you is crap. lol. all you have to do is take off the chain guard on the front sproket, Loosen the rear axle as much as possible with the allan wrench(the chain slack adjustment)and take out the two screws that are connected to the front sproket. There is a washer in front of it to stop it from flying off as well so you'll have to remove that. then just hold the chain up front to take off the weight pulling it rearward and slide off the sproket. Mind numbingly easy. I like the sproket. I noticed a speed decrease on the top end but I knew that was coming. I did that intentionally for more power out of the hole on the trails. At the same time, I put on the jet kit (phase II), the E series, and a set of Douglass rims with 22' holeshots on the back. Overall....It's more power on the low end than I know what to do with. lol.. but I love it.

I researched them forever until I made up my mind and got the WB E-Series slip-on. I would have to say it is one of the best out there!

Pretty much all exhausts are going to give you about 1.5 -2.5 Hp over stock so just look for something quiet that look nice, The power difference is mostly phsycological because of the louder noise.
