Are these an accessory option??

I am trying to order, but wanted to make sure I got the right ones. The ones I am looking at are 101lb/in straight rate and listed in '00 optional spring chart.

7041450-067 is the part number.

Is there a difference for '01 models???

Just to let you know DieselPro, they HD springs are slightly shorter than the originals but they are correct. I have a lot of customers who are not sure I got them the correct ones because they are shorter.

Thanks a bunch guys!

I've been procrastinating long enough. I get sick of the tires buzzing and front bottoming.

From what I hear, these are THE hot ticket???

JK,
You are a man of many interests! Did you order your Dmax yet? BTW why so much more for the stainless?

Hey Stretch!

You know me, can't leave ANYTHING alone! The front end is WAY too soft, but I aim to cure that!

I actually haven't played on the SP since spring, what with the Harley taking up most of my free time. Problem is, the County and DNR around here are hassling us about riding in the mud arease along the trail, so I just havn't had the desire lately.

Hi,saw your post about the stiffer springs just thought I would throw in my 2 cents.I have talked to several people including hi-lifter and a polaris certified mechanic and they all seem to think that the stiffer springs is a good solution to the polaris weak springs in the front that are used from the factory. They all seem to agree that if you are going to add a winch or a heavy cargo box the heavyer springs are a must and fairly cheep,HOWEVER there is another solution that I myself are in the process of installing and that is a PROGRESSIVE SOLUTIONS pre-load adjuster spring kit.I will tell you right off the price is about a $155.00 bucks plus another $25.00 for a spanner wrench but at least with this kit you can adjust the spring height as needed and I was told it would not affect your POLARIS warranty, another plus to these springs is if you add bigger tires & wheels on the front such as 26" tires this will give your machine a little more fender clearance. That,s my 2 cents worth

I put the HD springs on, and the ride is MUCH improved.

I am NOT about being cheap. The Progressive springs are neat, but IMHO if you want to hold up the weight, the lighter end of the progressive coils will compress to much.

Now I just need to get rid of the screen door shocks up front!
