Hard to start Grizzly 600

Hi,
I just bought my 2001 Grizzly 600 about a month ago and the only complaint that I have is that it is very hard to start daily. After I get it started it is fine, but the first time I try to start it, it is extremely hard. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?
