Big bear question
#1
Hi,
I have a foreman 400, and after buying a Warrior, I am considering selling the forman and getting something a little less clumsy.
I am looking at the big bear 4x4. Is it any good? reliabe? better bottom end than a wolverine (which I really like except for no low end) and why so inexpensive?
I ride trails, make trails, some utility work (not extremly heavy), a like to ride real slow and look at rocks on the ground sometimes. Does it have a good low 1st gear?
Any input is appriciated.

Got a 2001 Big Bear 4x4 back in March and have put about 35 hours on it. Have been very happy with it and had no problems. I do the same kind of riding you described. Has a very low 1st gear which is great for steep mountain trails (especially going down). Doesn't have a very high top speed (about 45) but has pretty quick acceleration. Mine is the full time 4x4, but the 2002 models have selectable 2wd or 4wd - for less - which is the only thing which disappoints me about my purchase.
