I have a 96 trail blazer 250. This bike has been abused in every possible way, flips and collisions ... you name it..

I want to boost the performance of this stock machine.

What would you recommend?

Well for starters, keep the rubber down. Maybe Trail Blazers are different, but I know the performance of my Scrambler really diclines rapidly when it's upside down. He'll be able to help you decide what's right for your quad and your riding style. Good luck.

thinking about a new piston (oversized) and maybe even a clutch kit.

The only way to really make it go is to rebuild the engine and get it ported. Then the pipe and carb. Followed by a clutch kit.

If you want to make it a kick @ss ride, then I think HPD makes a reed box conversion kit that would really make people turn their heads when you go flying by.
