I was riding, and I went to stop and bang!(well not exacally) and the brake lever went to the handlebars!!.

I must have blew a seal or something, I didnt have time tonight to check it out. Probably a seal on the wheel cylinder piston somewhere...ohh well, I'll check it out tomorrow.

OH...I have a question.....is it ok to re-surface a brake drum for my ATV??, has anyone had that done??, as long as it isnt too worn out, because I might get my rear brakes working and the drum is in bad shape, it needs a re-surfacing job done to it.(A new drum costs $120) I can do the re-facing myself at school, and new brake cables, which are about $15 each. If the front brakes are too expensive to fix I can get the rears going for about $30.

Well I found out what made my brakes go soft.
It was one of the rubber seals on a wheel cylinder, it blew, I had old brake cylinders so I took an old one off of the old set and put it on...works fine now...I just have to bleed the lines better...takes forever to get them tight.
