Quest 650 Price?
#1
How much should someone expect to pay for Quest 650? I can get a Prairie 650 for 6,900 out the door. A Quest 650 would be abouy 7,900 out the door. My bombardier dealer says they can work on the price for me. I am just having a tough time with the price difference. Are the repairs more expensive on a Quest?

Seems a little high for the Quest.
I picked up my Quest 650 XT at a dealer that also sells Kawi, Yami and Honda. The base Quest 650 was $8800, the XT $9600, the Kawi and Grizz both where a shade under $9500. These are Canadian prices so they don't apply to you, but the price relationship should be the same anywhere. I would think you should be able to get a Quest 650 for less than the Prairie, and the Quest 650 XT for around the same or maybe a little more than the Prairie.
As for repair costs, I would think the main cost is the shop labour rate and I think that is pretty much constant from dealer to dealer. As for parts, I can't really comment. If I had to guess, I would think that Bomb parts (being domestically produced) would be less than Kawi's imported parts.
The Quest is a great machine - I'm really happy for mine.
Cheers,

Canadian Viking,
So far I have put 40 miles on the darn thing just going to town a couple times for smokes and snacks. This Machine ROCKS! Its like riding a recliner that does 60mph +. The trails here bihind my house are pretty bumpy and worn and the damn machine seems to drive itself. The engine braking system is tremendous but takes some getting use to. Like I have said before, I looked and shopped and compared for 2 months before I pulled the trigger on this thing and I have absolutely no regrets with my decision. I now have the biggest and the best rig for the money and Love it!!
Happy riding......Bob:

I'm still breaking in the engine on mine - have you done the 10 hour service yet?
I agree with the engine braking - it works great but will surprise you at first and takes a little getting used to.
The internet has been a great place to find information about the Quest and to talk to other Quest/Traxtor owners. ATV Connection, HighLifter and ATV Time all have great Bombardier communities.

Ill be doing 10 hr the service soon, the popping just started going away now, damn was that irritating. I Ran the rig through my little forest out back and went through some crap I haven tbeen able to get back to on foot. What a monster! It went over and through every thing and i got hung up on a deadfall, the 4wd kicked in and launched me forward about 5 ft farther than I needed to go, scared me a little. I let my buddy drive it last night and he is in love, probably getting one too. Two guys I work with just put thier machines up for sale to get this one, It is the best deal for the Buck.
