Is the pipe that you have made by Ritter...probably not. Ritter Cycle deals in HPD pipes. The pipe that you got from them is most likely one of them. Depending on the mods that you have, changing the silencer won't make a noticable difference. I used to have a TB that would easily fun with a STOCK 400 Sport. I milled the head .053, wiseco piston(+.040), 38mm carb., K&N direct filter, HPD pipe and silencer, 30t rear sprocket, HPD clutch kit, port and polish, 110 octane Turbo Blue. These mods made a HUGE difference!!

Since it is a Ritter pipe, I probably wouldn't change the silencer without a little checking first....are the ends of the pipes the same size?.....will I get the same tight fit between the pipe and the silencer? With the mods that you have, that thing should be pretty quick. Have you changed the sprocket ratio or added a K&N filter? These two little mods make a big difference on a TrailBlazer!!

I think you'll like the HPD quiet silencer. Dyno results, it performs almost as good as a straight section of pipe....but a whole lot less bark to **** off the neighbors. Riding this last weekend, it was a whole lot less harsh than the FMF Turbine Core I had on there before.

Good Luck,
KT
