I have started a new site dedicated to reviewing Northwest dunes and their campsites. Take a look and let me know what you think about it. http://sandboxtoys.tripod.com . If you have any ideas to make it better pls let me know

I have always gone riding at the the dunes in Washington. Great site, no changes needed. Hey maybe when you plan your next trip there, I could try to make it also.

I gotta say that you have a pretty nice site Dune250R. Good info, nice to see that Sandlake is not forgotten in the crowd of larger areas such and the Oregon Dunes and Florence.

You need to update the site with UTAH locations. I'd consider Utah to be NorthWest- and I imagine people in Idaho and Oregon would drive here.

Some locations include:

Jericho Sand Dunes (Sand Mountain)
Knolls
Moab (They still let Dirtbikes / ATV's on the "petrified" sand dunes)

-cool site though

I have not had a chance to go to the UTAH dunes yet. I do plan to in the future. When I do I will add them to the site. Thank you all for the input.

Let me know when you come- I got a whole gang of people who go all the time....

For those of you in Utah- Knolls is AWESOME - but not very well known. There are sand dunes, sand flats, Hard core (mountain) hill climes and little "knolls" all over the place for jumping. It's truely paradise-

To get there from Salt Lake City- Head WEST on I-80 and take the "Knolls" exit. Turn South and follow the road paralell to the Highway. Make a Left to cross over the train tracks- and pick out your camping spot and tear it up!

Knolls is next to the U.S. Boming range. And if you want to hear what it sounds like in Arab country- head out there in the morning. The concusions of the bombs hit you hard in the chest. The first time I heard them- I feard for my life. They drop them safely- about 5 miles away- but if you aren't expecting it- it sounds like they went off behind you.
