I run 1/2" TOTAL Toe-out on mine. 1/4" EACH side. Don't remember factory spec., but could get it for you. This setting works best for me and the 589 M/T's

hollowrider,
I think trx450 is correct on his toe settings. I will check my shop manual and post the factory specifications tonight when I get home from work unless someone else posts them before I do.

The factory specs tell you it should be towed out, I got a 350es and noticed it was towed out as soon as I brought it home. I set it at 1/16 and find it much better. They are almost all towed out from the factory for stability reasons.

hollowrider,
The Honda service manual states that the toe-out should be 1-3/8" + or - 9/16". On each side this would be toed out 11/16" + or - 9/32". Toe-out means the front measurement is greater than the rear measurement. I hope this helps you out.

hollowrider,
Your settings are less than Honda specifications say they should be. I have seen many new Hondas with varying toe settings right from the factory. It is entirely up to you as to how the bike feels, handles and tire wear as to whether you should adjust the toe or not. It is a very easy adjustment should you decide to do so. Personally I would set it to the factory recommended specifications. If you do decide to adjust the toe, the adjustment should be made with no weight on the front end.
