DS 650 hittin 100 mph!! Guy is smokin something

OK guys, there is this kid in my school and we have been arguing about what would win, a DS650 vs. a Rator. I said they have about the same top speed but that Raptor just gets up and goes quicker. But he is saying a DS can hit 100 mph no porblem. But I have not even got to the bad part yet. His dad is a quad dealer. I don't want my local dealer to be telling his customers that kind of bullshit. Someone tell him the truth cause I am going to show him this post tomorrow. A stock DS will not go 100.
On a good day, (80 degrees, downhill, and tailwind), it will go 78-80 MAX.
In order to reach 100, you would have to do one or more of 3 things:
1. You would have to take the rev limiter off
2. You would have to gear up to baja ratios
3. And you would have to have a reeeeeeeaaaaally strong tail wind, or rockets, or a corvette pushing you
Note: you don't need too many engine or chassis modifications (on a DS), except maybe a pipe to go Baja speeds. Last years Baja winner (the DS) pulled the higher gears and taller tires with only a filter and pipe added. I don't remember if it had the rev lim. removed.

There is no way a stock DS will do 100. If you change the gearing on it it will tho (TimmyBoy Designs did this on the DS that won the Baja race earlier this year).
