The independant rear suspenion supporters talk about the hard ride of Hondas. My experience is with a Big Bear, and I spent most of the time up off seat to cusion the beating. Do you have riding experience with independant rear suspenion vs your Honda? I would like to get an ATV that would handle mountainous trails without flogging my butt. I have seen a 18 month old foreman with <800 miles for $4800. The mileage seems a bit steep, would a new rancher give a better ride?

Thank you for suggestion of 400 Prairie. I have not researched that machine, hopefully it will have a reliable reputation. The best price i can find for IRS is $6400 OTD for 01 polaris. Prairie,Bombadier, and Grizzly 650 is priced out of my range. I have avoided Vinison because it is a first year product. have a good Thanksgiving.
