Well it looks like I have finally worn out a set of rear brakes on my 300EX. I was wondering which brake company makes the best ones, for overall longetivity, and superior braking. Thanks in advance.

You can't have both longevity and superior braking power from one pad.

The "Braking"s are very good and so are the "EBC"s. I personally like the "Moose" brand. The semi-metallic style. They get eat up a little below average but stop on a dime. They take a little playing around in the yard to get bedded in right too.

One other thing is to not overlook your brakefluid. That makes a bigger difference than the pads you use. Alot of guys come in complaining that their brakes never seem to work as well as they did when new. I ask when they changed their fluid last and usually I get a shoulder shrugg. LOL

A quad and motorcycle's brake fluid heats up to the boiling point much quicker than say a car, so you need to change it and flush out the old fluid at least every two month if you ride hard every weekend. Brake fluid that has reached the boiling point just once is almost like having water in your reservoir.

Check it out.
