I was at a atv shop and the sales guy told me there may be a new pilot comming from honda soon has anyone els herd anything

 

I haven't heard anything but that sure Peaks my interest!

I would love to have a Honda Pilot.. those things are so cool.. but I am not into paying such high dollars for someones abused used up Pilot that I have seen For Sale.

I heard that Honda sold more 400EXs in the first month than they sold Pilots in the two years they were made. It did come out at a bad time, but I still don't think it would do the numbers Honda would like to see. I would not hold my breath for a new Pilot.

The 2002 Drakart Sport is out. It has a 750cc Kawasaki 4 stroke engine and the suspension travel has been increased over the 2001. It is faster and has more suspension travel than a Pilot. At $8900, it is not that much more than I have seen used Pilots go for.

The 2002 Formula Cross has Fox shocks vs. the Bilsteins used on the 2001s. My 2000 has the Drakart made shocks. I'm not sure if there are any other changes on the 2002.

Now that Drakart has moved to California from Canada, the company will be easier to deal with. I drove to Canada to pick mine up and got stuck in customs for 6 hours coming back.

 

This might be what is causing the rumors of a new Pilot. Not exactly what we would hope for.
