I use spraypaint inside the grip. Prray it good, slip it on and forget it. Let it sit for a while and when the paint inside the grip dries you will have a hard time getting the grip off. Cant comment on that particular grip, never used it.

Since using safety wire on my Scott grips they have not moved at all in the past year.
It helps to use Scott grip glue too.

I generally use spray paint also. Though, my last set of grips, I used grip cement and it worked well, too. Just get everything CLEAN before installation.

We have used them all; grip glue, paint, carpet tape, weatherstriping glue, super glue, etc. They all work for awhile, but will come off sometime, like in the middle of a race in a mud puddle, crossing a creek, etc. We now use safty wire and have not had any problem except the wire was to tight and it cut the grip. So what every you use safty wire. All of the top racers use it.

I use 5 minute auto epoxy from auto-zone and have never had them slip again.

I use grip cement and safety wire on about 15 dirt bikes in the past, and have never had a grip slip...

Good luck,

I agree....safety wire is the way to go... Other than that...a warm garage and patience.

Most people glue in a cold garage and go riding. I usually let the grip glue dry for a weekend. My grips never come off. I have never had a grip spin or slide in 15+ years of riding.

Make sure your bars have something for the glue to grip on. Take a file and ruff the bars up.
