What you have there is either a Tri-moto 200 or Tri-moto 225. Thats all I can tell you based on your info. of the machine. It is a 4 stroke. Get the 17 digit serial number and call your local Yamaha dealer's parts department. He can tell you exactly what it is and the year model. The serial number is located behind the headlight and stamped into the steering head.

Those are fun lil machines if you're a beginner. I put a new tranny in my cousins. I gotta say though the shift forks that I got for the reverse gear were a little slopy and no I didn't put them in upside down. It would always pop out of reverse so you had to hold the lever back. I checked the shift drum that it rode on for wear but it was within spec. Was this just a flaw in the model or what? I think his was an 85 or an 86. It was blue and didn't have any suspension.
