Has any one raced the CT whale pipe with a heavily
mod Honda 250R engine? I'm looking for that pipe to finish off my drag 4 trax. What about FTZ's drag pipe?

 

I have seen both the whale pipe and the FTZ pipe run. The whale pipe is perhaps the best in frame pipe for the 250. The FTZ pipe is probably the best drag pipe. The FTZ pipe makes about 6-8hp more than any other pipe. I have seen dyno runs first hand.

 

i have owned a whale pipe that came with my pro-x ct ported 310 and bought a lrd pipe. the whale pipe just didn't impress me at all. the lrd has more bottem then the whale and about the same top end. I tried them both on the same day and my bike was always faster with the lrd pipe. I then sold my 310 and put on a ftz 265 kit and again tried both pipes and the lrd came out on top again. i am not sure if the porting timing was correct for the whale on the ftz cylinder but it should have been on the pro-x 310 because I bought that as a complete kit from ct.
