Out in the snow today with the quads, U had to have to rev to the max were ever u go to get anywhere, I normally just put around in the summer and was wondering how high can u rev them with out being to hard on it, I was on my fourman 400, and was with a rubicon, which was in automatic shift in low range and was ***** to the walls all day. Also with the fourman I notice sometimes when I shifted it out come out of gear and hit neutral(when I was riding it hard)Also on the fourman on the roads and stuff I don't go any faster than 40-50 km/hr sounds like they rev up to high to come any faster on a longer road trip?

I don't know on your model but on the 400ex, honda says the engine is good upto 12,000. Stock 400ex is mid 9,300. If you really want to know for sure can Honda direct and ask, its free and then you have it from the horses mouth, that is what I did. Hope that helps

I really don't remember sorry, but if you call your local dealer they will have it. Just ask them for the number for Honda's Technical department and they should have it on hand. It will actually be the department that deals with the electrical portion of the bike (no idea why but that is what department the guy said he was in that answered it).
