i need some help here, im triing to figure out whats wrong, i think i have either a bad shift fork or gear. my reverse does not work. i put it in gear, and it makes a different kinda sound. its almost a hollow-aluminum sound. doesn't really sound like stripped gears. it works fine in any other gear. i though the linkage might have gone out of adjustment, so i tried adjusting that, nothing. the only thing ,aside form the gears, i an think of, is a bent fork. taking it apart wont be a problem, ive worked on enough dirtbike tranny's to know that this is really simple inside, alot less parts.
