Hi all. I have a 2000 Sportsman 500 and I am looking for the purple accesory wire as well as the red/white accessory wire. In the shop manual it says that they are located "below the headlamps". I can't seem to find these wires. Is it possible that in Canada they didn't install these wires.

Thanks

Remove the "hood", and they will be located close to the steering stem. That's where I found mind on my Xplorer 400, and understand that they are located at the same place on several year models/different makes. I used them to by-pass the reverse override, and something else. I now use my yellow button to give momentary power to a reverse light. Works real sweet.
