Over Sized Exhaust Valves
#1
Just bought a pair of oversized intake and exhaust valves for my 440. I've heard that the larger intakes makes a noticeable difference but haven't read/heard much about larger exhaust valves. I'm figuring that I'm going to get more top end with the valves. Hopefully in the high 40's in hp. What do you think?
435 IMS 12.5:1JE, RCR ported, 463/9i WebCam, 34mm. Black Diamond intakes valves, 30mm. Black Diamond exhaust valves, Carillo rod, shortened valve guides, Kibblewhite high performance valve springs with titanium retainers, hardened rockers, XR250 cdi, FCR 41 carb (alcohol?), stud job, stock clutch disks/plates with CR500 springs, lightened flywheel, DMC full exhaust, +2 250R swingarm and a big o'l wheelie bar.
I bet it still won't beat the girlfriend's big bore HPD/RCR alky Sport.
