My uncle just got a new Grizzly 660, and I know he can kill me on top speed, but I was wondering if I could stay with him in the tight woods. He got a red one and I have to say it looks awesome! I can't wait until he lets me ride it. So anyways thanks in advanced for the answers. And if you think this is a pointless post, don't answer, or at least dont be rude about it.

 

That's actually a pretty good question. The 660 would have alot harder acceleration plus faster top speed, but the 300EX is ALOT more manuverable. All in all, I would have to say it would come down to the best rider. You could kick his butt w/your brothers 250EX if you were good enough.

 

If they are tight twisty woods I would put my money on you. I ride DS which is buy far the worst trail machine but I had to learn that the hard way. I Whent riding in the woods a few months ago with 2 300 ex's and one 250ex. Me and my budie on a sportsman where the slowest threw the woods. We both (espesalie me) got our buts kicked hard by even the 250ex let alone the 300's.

Well, I never thought that these two would ever be compared. I own both. This past weekend I let RIDERED ride my ex because his Rancher is in the shop again. In the woods he smoked me. On the curvy fire roads he got me again. RIDE and myself are of probably equal riding ability. I could catch him on the strait sections but the 300ex would make it up in the curves. My 300ex is set up for woods riding. Its top speed is probably only 53-55 mph. My Grizz is stock. I did see 65 on a couple of strait sections but I never could get by him. Sorry to say it but the 300EX can't be touched in the woods. About the only equals it has are the 250R and the 250X and the 400EX. They are fast and a blast to ride in the woods.

 

I would have to say the 300ex for dead sure....

And the only equals to the Rancher are the other HONDA utility models. The only equals to any HONDA automobile is another HONDA automobile.

On the 300ex VS the Griz in the woods....I would guarantee that the best rider will be in front. 90% rider 10% machine.

 

Well I am RIDERED and I are about equal. The Honda is WAY more agile. Remember I own both machines.
