Painting Plastic

Alright yall, one last question....if i were to buy maier plastic...could i have it painted, and it shine? How much would this cost? Cause i really like a deep deep red, but it doesn't come in that color plastic.

My friend painted the plastic on his old Banshee and to my suprise it stuck okay. He just did a quick job so it didn't really look the best, but I have seen pics of quads painted before. However, the ones I have seen were all "dune dragers" so they don't have to worry about scratching it in the woods. It probably wouldn't hold up to well if you rode in areas where it was prone to scratching. Maybe I'm wrong.

So if i do ride trails, yall think it would be best not to paint the plastic?

no way man, it's just gonna scratch off in the woods, or if you use a power washer to spray mud off it will take the paint off w/ the mud probably.
