I HAVE SEEN A COUPLE TIMES WHERE POLARIS SCREWED THE SPEED LIMITER BOLTS RIGHT INTO THE RADIATOR. MY BOLTS ARE ABOUT 1/8 INCH INTO THE RAD. TANK. HAS ANYONE EVER NOTIECED THIS? IT MIGHT PAY TO CHECK IT OUT.

I don't see any screws that are even close on my '99. Which screws are in your radiator? Is the speed limiter that little box right under the front of the hood?

yes the speed limiter box is right under the hood in front of the radiator, the screws that hold my limiter on are screwed down into my radiator. ihave checked out a couple of other 500 scramblers and the screws are rubbing the rads too

I took a minute to look at a couple, I found at least one where the screws holding the speed limitor were touching the radiator. These bolts are way to long to be used in the place where they are. I can see where some could have gone right into the radiator.

I sure hope everyone with a Scrambler takes a second to check these bolts out before they develope a hole in their $190 radiator.
