I have a 2002 400ex and I cant get the 18mm socket to fit in the tight space. Do I need a special socket or tool? Thanks for your help!!

I suggest using the one Honda gave you. It is conveniently located in the tool kit on the back of your bike.

you can use the tool that comes in your tool kit but if the spark plug its too tight the socket will expand and it wont come off. just go to any motorcycle dealer and you can buy or order the socket from MOTION PRO they are the only co. that makes the right socket for your 400 ex
